Event videographer in London
I'm Paul, a videographer from London who specialises in event videography. With over 15 years of experience filming events in London, I can cover any video requirements you might have for your event.
Event videography could include an events highlight video. This is typically a mix of interviews to help drive the narrative for your film and b-roll shots which bring your film to life. B-roll includes shots auch as people networking, audience members warching a presenter on stage, shots of the venue or guests enjoying drinks. Sometimes we even film presentations that might be happening at your event to include these in your event highlights film. Typical event highlight videos include a 3 minutes cut then wither a 60 or 30 second social cut. Social cuts can be delivered as 9x16 and 1x1 aspect ratios to work for Tiktok, Instagram stories or reels. We are also able to subtitle your film to cater for a broader audience.
Other event videography we carry out includes live streaming. Maybe you would like to take your event live onto the Internet for viewers who can't be there in person or a global audience. We have experience live streaming all kinds of events using our Blackmagic live streaming gear. We have the ability to mix in slides live and lower third name titles for each presenter. We carry out a location scout for our live stream video productions. Spring these we check where we want to position cameras and check the Internet connection.
Another typical booking we get for event videography is filming stage presentations. You might have presenters running presentations on stage all day long. We can film these with multiple cameras and cut them into full length or cut down versions. Many clients sell these post event to their audience or offer for free to people who couldn't attend on the day.
Working in London as a videographer for over a decade, means I've worked at most of the main venues in the city. This experience means I can accurately quote for your project.
So how much does an event cideographer cost? Event videography typically starts at £850+VAT for filming only and a starting point of £1500+VAT for shoot plus edit. Whatever your event videography requirement, I have you covered.

An event videographer can capture video content of your event. This could be filming speakers on stage, interviewing members of your audience or sending a live feed from the event to an online link. Your event videographer is your one stop shop for getting video coverage at your event sorted. Considerations for event filming include how many camera angles you might need and sound considerations. This might be in the form of a sound person to capture interview sound or working alongside your AV team to take a sound feed from a speaker during a presentation.

Events are varied occasions and each shoot requires different kit. For filming of a highlights film at an event, the following kit might be used. A cinema style camera with full functionality. This includes features such as wide dynamic range, XLR sockets for taking audio, light monitoring abilities to get exposure correct in difficult conditions and slow motion high frame rates. A second camera would usually be bought along with a gimbal. This setup enables the videographer to capture moving shots at the event and add some dynamic feeling. Sound kit is another important piece of camera kit. Lapel microphones are a considerations to interview people but also plenty of XLR cable in case of taking a feed from the AV teams desk.
If live streaming we bring along a Blackmagic mixing desk which enables us to complete a live video stream online for viewers.
