Video Production Expert Advice Interview

A few weeks back I was contacted by the London based company VP Online to give some advice as an expert videographer.

Giving advice as an expert videographer

I’ve been working as a professional videographer for 12 years now. Its been an amazing journey so far. A job in videography has taken me all over the world to almost all continents. Filmmaking has given me the opportunity to experience so many new things. I’ve met so many incredible people and learnt all about their passions. In this time I’ve spent countless hours crafting my skills and learning new techniques that will be my films as good as possible. I can’t recommend a career as a videographer enough.

An expert videography advisor

Now that I am established as a videographer, from time to time I get asked questions as an expert in the field. These range from students looking for advice to companies wanting me to train their staff. VP Online are a large Scottish based film and video DVD duplication company. Primarily they offer duplication services in London and across the whole of the UK. They contacted me a few weeks back as they wanted to run an article. This article would offer advice from industry professionals for budding filmmakers starting out. It’s always nice being asked to contribute to articles and help others wanting to break into the film and video production+ field.

In the article I gave some of my top tips on how to become a professional videographer. Not only this but how to be very good at it. Hard work and learning your craft were my top tips. If you have a passion for it the journey will be enjoyable. As a result, my journey has been exactly that.

In conclusion, I feel very lucky to have been asked to contribute to this project. The article is now live and can be viewed over here.
