Corys Train Simulation film

Earlier in the week I took a trip out of London and over to Kent to film some shots of a train simulator used to train aspiring train drivers.  The shoot was actually commissioned by French production company Colocarts who asked me to come onboard as the DOP to capture the final shots for their video promo of the train simulator.  The train simulator itself is an amazing piece of kit.  I was capturing the training session in a way that showcased the eight trainees using the machines as a group.  It’s always a pleasure being trusted to do a job remotely for another production company based outside of the UK.  In this day and age it’s very easy to transfer large files straight over to a post production team and for this particular project my fibre optic connection made quick work of transferring the 170GB 4k files.
